TKI Research - Senior Data Analyst
The Center of Data Analysis, Visualization, and Analytics is a research-driven department focused on transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. Our team specializes in data collection, integration, statistical analysis, and advanced visualization to support various organizational goals. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be a key part of this team, working on high-impact projects that enhance reporting accuracy, improve decision-making, and optimize business performance.
The KPI Institute is a research institute specializing in business performance. It operates research programs in 12 practice domains, ranging from strategy and KPIs to employee performance, and from customer service to innovation performance. Insights are disseminated through a variety of publications, subscriptions services, and through a knowledge platform available to registered members. Support in deploying these insights in practice is offered through training and advisory services.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Enhance Existing Templates: Optimize Excel and Google Sheets templates to streamline reporting, data analysis, and visualization processes.
- Develop Dashboards & Reports: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
- Data Collection, Integration & Manual Research: Collect data from multiple sources, including manual entry and research-based data collection, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Data Wrangling & Cleansing: Clean, format, and prepare datasets for analysis by applying data transformation techniques.
- Data Modeling & Statistical Analysis: Develop models to analyze trends, forecast patterns, and apply statistical techniques to support business and research needs.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain clear documentation of data processes, methodologies, and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Advanced Excel & Google Sheets: Utilize advanced features such as Power Query, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros, and VBA to automate workflows and enhance data handling.
- Visualization & Reporting Tools: Leverage Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or similar tools to create insightful and interactive dashboards.
- Stakeholder Consultation: Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Excel & Google Sheets: Expert-level proficiency, including Power Query, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros, visualizations, and VBA.
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in Excel or Power BI.
- Data Processing: Strong expertise in data wrangling, cleansing, and manipulation.
- Statistical Knowledge: Solid foundation in statistics, particularly for KPI tracking and business analytics.
- Data Modeling: Ability to structure data effectively for reporting and forecasting.
- Python & SQL: basic knowledge is needed.

Experience & Education:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluent in English (required).
