The KPI Institute is a research institute specializing in business performance. It operates research programs in 12 practice domains, ranging from strategy and KPIs to employee performance, and from customer service to innovation performance. Insights are disseminated through a variety of publications, subscriptions services, and through a knowledge platform available to registered members. Support in deploying these insights in practice is offered through training and advisory services.
The Functional Areas Enablement Institute (FAEI) is looking for a capable English-language writer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience producing a variety of content types and familiarity with different writing styles. You will support the work of multiple teams, including marketing, research, and instructional design.
FAEI is a research organization dedicated to improving how businesses perform across functional areas. Our unique approach is rooted in our custom-built frameworks, ranging from an all-encompassing Functional Areas Management Framework to specific adaptations for each business function. Through these, we produce a wide variety of materials that facilitate optimal business practices.
Your main responsibilities include:
● Work closely with research teams to deeply understand project objectives,methodologies, datasets, analyses, findings and recommendation
● Identify key subjects, emerging topics, underserved issues, and promising directions
uncovered through studies to inform content products
● Conduct secondary research on topics when additional context is needed translate
findings into stories, or use cases
● Develop and produce outlines and drafts for long-form research publications, including
technical reports, journal articles, white papers and books
● Produce short-form copy for research summaries, infographics, blogs, videos, podcasts and presentations
● Package insights from data models and advanced analytics into simplified exhib
examples and explanations accessible to business professionals
● Create immersive case studies, simulations, and interactive exercises based on research findings to accelerate capability development
● Localize content and learning resources for international target audiences based on
culturalization insights revealed in research
● Work with creative teams to enhance deliverables through visual storytelling best
practices and high impact designs
● Incorporate research outputs on audience analysis, engagement metrics and
effectiveness studies to optimize knowledge products
● Contribute thought leadership content to online forums, industry publications and
external platforms aligned to research focus areas

Level of experience:
● 3–5 years of professional experience in writing, content creation, or a related fie
● Experience collaborating within small, agile teams or cross-functional groups
Kind of Experience:
● Authoring white papers, reports, case studies from analyses
● Developing data storytelling for multiple formats (articles, blogs, and magazine)
● Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment
