Senior Researcher - FAEI
The Functional Areas Enablement Institute (FAEI) is a research organization dedicated to identifying better ways to manage operations across functional areas. Our unique approach to operations enablement involves separating the generic managerial activities across functional areas from the specific ones, unique to each department. The generic activities are documented in the FAEI's Functional Area Management Framework, while the specific activities to each department are documented in over 30 frameworks, such as FAEI's Marketing Function Framework, Sales Function Framework, Procurement Function Framework.
We package our insights in publications, training course content, audit methodologies, consulting toolkits and we engage with our community through online and offline events. We operate a variety of membership programs, which range from access to research insights, to benchmarking clubs.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Perform ad-hoc researches catering to FAEI's needs
- Execute original research studies to explore emerging issues or deep dives of elements within domain area
- Employ specialized qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to uncover unique findings and patterns in complex data
- Identify information gaps and recommend new datasets, tools, or approaches to enhance research rigor
- Clearly document research protocol, data sources, cleaning processes, analyses, findings and recommendations
- Assist other researchers in complex analysis activities, especially related to specialty area knowledge
- Contribute subject matter perspectives and analytical expertise to collaborative group research projects
- Present research results at internal seminars
- Mentor junior research staff by advising on methodologies, analytical techniques, and professional development
