Job Description: Chief Marketing Officer
Location: Worldwide (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 40h/week (08:00 – 17:00 or 09:00 – 18:00)
LMSL, the Life Management Science Labs, is an organization aiming to empower people all over the world to transform their lives based on the research by The Institute for Life Management Science (ILMS), which identifies and structures all aspects of human life into a comprehensive architecture.
ILMS is dedicated to researching the application of management systems in personal life. A multi-disciplinary research team explores the structure and application of personal administration at individual, couple and family level. The result of the research project is a series of tools, templates, toolkits, publications and training courses content.
LMSL has been established to commercialize activities using the above-mentioned research insights. LMSL is an organization aiming to empower people all over the world to transform their lives based on the research by The Institute for Life Management Science, which identifies and structures all aspects of human life into a comprehensive architecture.
Job Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy and Implementation
Implements and adapts the company’s marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives set by the Cluster Marketing Manager.
Develops and oversees integrated marketing campaigns, including new product launches, branding initiatives, and innovative tactics.
Develops and implements marketing strategies to enhance competitiveness, collaborating with product, sales, and other departments.
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing feedback and directions for optimization.
2. Team Management and Coordination
Leads the marketing teams for LMSL International as well as LMSL Local (Romania, Vietnam, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia & more as added in future).
Coordinates with the marketing team and supervises Marketing Managers and other team members to ensure deliveries of planned projects is completed with highest of quality
Ensures team alignment with the marketing strategy, clarifying individual and collective objectives.
Mentors and develops the marketing team’s skills, supporting professional growth and fostering collaboration between departments.
Proactively resolves conflicts and ensures smooth collaboration within the entity, cluster, and ecosystem.
Sets up quarterly, half-yearly, and annual goals for team members and tracks their achievements
Provides feedback to the team and secures final approval from the Vice President of Marketing (Cluster) for all outputs from the Marketing Department before sharing them with other stakeholders for review including the CEO (every week)
3. Budget & Agency Management
Liaises with all external agencies including the selection process and ensures clear instructions, communications, and timelines are maintained along with the quality of work accepted.
Manages allocated marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource use and maximizing ROI.
Monitors and reports on budget execution to the Cluster Marketing Manager, suggesting adjustments to optimize costs and performance.
4. Brand Strategy and Management
Leads and implements brand strategy under the direction of the Cluster Marketing Manager.
Coordinates and ensures brand identity and brand guidelines consistency across all materials and channels working with design and communications teams.
Ensures the implementation of the brand’s visual identity and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
5. Market Research and Data Analysis
Coordinates market research to identify trends and market opportunities.
Uses data insights to adjust marketing strategies and customer experience to guide product/service development teams.
6. Pricing Strategies
Proposes and implements pricing strategies in collaboration with the product team.
Evaluates cost structures and competitor behavior, recommending pricing optimizations.
7. Digital Marketing
Website Management and SEO
Oversees website development and optimization, ensuring optimal user experience.
Collaborates with IT and design teams to ensure proper website functionalities and relevant content.
Develops and leads SEO strategies, improving organic search visibility.
Optimizes website structure and content to enhance search engine rankings.
Social Media Management
Develops and implements social media strategies to increase engagement and visibility.
Monitors performance of social media Posts/ Calendar, recommending improvements.
PPC - Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Display Paid Social & more
Works with the team and external agency to prepare a global performance marketing plan to generate expected Revenue via B2B (Lead Gen) and B2C campaigns (e-comm)
Monitors and adjusts all paid campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.
Ensures efficient budget utilization maximizing sales and reducing cost per sale.
Email Marketing
Coordinates the planning and execution of global email marketing campaigns.
Evaluates and optimizes email marketing performance to increase conversions.
Marketing Collaterals, Content Creation and Management
Plans and delivers all key marketing and sales collaterals in coordination with the marketing, sales and product teams
Supervises the creation and distribution of high-quality content aligned with business goals.
Ensures consistency and relevance of content across communication channels.
CRM Strategies
Develops and implements CRM strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Analyzes customer behavior and provides recommendations to improve retention and communication.
Influencer and Affiliate Marketing
Identifies and collaborates with influencers (KOLs) to increase brand visibility and credibility always keeping a focus on conversions and engagement rates.
Monitors influencer campaign performance and its impact on brand perception.
Develops and supervises affiliate marketing programs.
Evaluates affiliate performance and proposes optimizations to maximize results.
8. Events and Public Relations
Events and Trade Shows
Coordinates the company’s participation in global events, trade shows, and conferences.
Oversees the creation and promotion of the company’s events, aligning with business objectives.
Public Relations
Supervises public relations strategies, working with agencies and internal teams to manage the company’s image.
Manages communication with the media and resolves potential image crises.
9. Audits and Compliance
Leads periodic audits of marketing activities, ensuring compliance with strategies and identifying areas for improvement.
11. Hiring
Hire the Marketing team in coordination with the TA Team
Ensure a low attrition rate in the Marketing Team
Key Qualifications
Multi-Channel Marketing Expertise
Proficient in all marketing channels (ATL, BTL, Digital, and PR) for global campaigns, with experience in planning, execution, reporting, and analysis.
Deep understanding of the global marketing landscape, including insights into regional markets.
Established network of reliable, results-driven yet cost-effective regional and global marketing vendors or agencies.
Experience with both early-stage and established products, including end-to-end product lifecycle management.
Strategic and Tactical Knowledge
Hands-on and strategic expertise in B2C, B2B, SaaS, and Digital Marketing, with knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
Proven success in launching global products, particularly in e-commerce or EdTech, including developing product marketing campaigns and achieving strategic campaign goals.
Strong foundation in e-commerce and EdTech marketing programs, as well as B2B demand generation.
Product Marketing and Content Creation
Demonstrated ability to develop product positioning, messaging, and marketing content across various formats, such as literature, websites, and videos.
Skilled in translating technical product details into clear, customer-focused value propositions.
Analytical and Data-Driven Insights
Strong curiosity and understanding of personas, customer challenges, behaviors, and data trends, with the ability to extract insights and conclusions.
Communication and Creative Thinking
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in English, with a flair for creative thinking.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Teamwork and Independence
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic and unstructured environments.
Recent leadership experience, with a minimum of three years in managerial roles is a must.
Global Market and Industry Expertise
Experience managing marketing programs for global markets, with a preference for exposure to the EdTech industry.
Have 12+ years of experience in the marketing field, including at least two consecutive years in a relevant area in a prior role
Have 3+ years of recent experience in leadership roles.
