Operations Manager (Longevity Supplements Line) – Remote
Collaborator's responsibilities/ duties
Strategic planning & development:
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to define company operational strategies and business model.
Develop, implement, and review operational policies, strategies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective company operations.
Identify opportunities to expand or shift course based on market changes
Financial management & oversight:
Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and planning processes.
Monitor and analyze relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Optimize resource allocation and minimize costs while maximizing efficiency and profitability.
Operational excellence:
Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and points of friction to maximize efficiency and revenue.
Oversee and manage various projects to ensure timely and successful completion within budget and scope.
Communicate organizational goals and objectives to team members.
Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
Coordinate with different teams to foster an exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities
Support team-member communication with the management.
Perform quality controls and monitor team performance.
Customer support:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Implement strategies to improve customer service processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
Regulatory compliance:
Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in regulatory writing for supplements across all relevant markets.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to product safety, labeling, and distribution.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory standards set forth by relevant regulatory bodies.
Supply chain & logistics:
Manage the entire supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
Oversee relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
Manage import/export regulations, customs duties, and international shipping.
Legal & contractual matters:
Draft and review contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other business partners.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all business operations.
E-commerce management:
Understand the dynamics of e-commerce platforms and leverage them for efficient order fulfillment and customer service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the healthcare, or consumer goods industry.
Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Experience with e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment systems is a plus.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
