Senior Learning and Development Specialist - TKI Research

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Senior Learning and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in designing, managing, and delivering impactful training programs by developing course materials, refining learning methodologies, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. This role involves maintaining and updating the course portfolio, configuring the LMS, and managing translations to ensure accessibility. The Senior specialist evaluates training outcomes through data collection and detailed reporting, collaborating with stakeholders and educational teams to align initiatives with strategic goals. Additionally, they implement reinforcement tools such as microlearning modules and evaluation exams to enhance learning retention, driving continuous improvement in organizational learning experiences.
Your main responsibilities include:
Training Development and Facilitation
Design and maintain course materials templates, ensuring resources are updated and accessible.
Develop and enhance learning methodologies, setting and ensuring compliance with standards for course outputs, teaching approaches, and learning experiences.
Collaborate with Educational Department/Division to design exercises, activities, and e-learning courses, including material creation.
Course Portfolio and LMS Management
Manage and update the course portfolio, including brochures, presentations, and product descriptions.
Configure and maintain courses on the LMS, addressing technical issues and uploading course materials.
Maintain the course register and oversee the translation process for course materials.
Evaluation and Reporting
Define and measure training performance metrics, collect data, and report on efficiency and effectiveness.
Evaluate training outcomes using tools such as surveys, interviews, and follow-ups, compiling findings into detailed reports.
Stakeholder and Project Collaboration
Coordinate with stakeholders involved in the project to ensure smooth course development and delivery.
Collaborate with research and educational program teams to align efforts and achieve organizational goals.
Learning Reinforcement
Design and implement reinforcement tools such as surveys, microlearning modules, and evaluation exams, ensuring compatibility with eLearning platforms.
We expect you to:
Bachelor's and/ or master’s degree in education sciences or other relevant studies.
Excel in written and verbal English and Arabic.
Proven experience as Senior L&D Specialist and Senior Instructional Design Specialist (minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience).
Have a background in training programs development / educational programs design. Experienced in developing training courses end-to-end.
Have experience in curriculum evaluation / training program evaluation.
Be passionately interested in training, especially in the preparation of the materials.
Hands-on experience with LMS configuration and management as well as other eLearning tools.
Ability to collect, analyze, and report on learning analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
Have good command with Microsoft Office package, especially Word, Excel and PPT.
Have strong communication skills both in writing and speaking;
Be comfortable liaising with all the organizational capabilities and build up strong relationships;
Be able to work independently with minimum supervision, but also as part of a project team.
Zoom in & Zoom out: pay high attention to details but at the same time keep alive the big picture;
Drive continuous improvement efforts.
Be willing to expand your instructional design skills and knowledge.
Presentation skills and ability to connect with internal and external clients
Detailed oriented and intrapreneurial spirit.
