Internal Consultant - TKI Research
ABOUT THE CONSULTANCY SUPPORT DIVISION
The Consultancy Support Division is an adjacent business line of The KPI Institute fulfilling six functions:
Organize and oversee the timely and qualitative delivery of off-site consultancy assignments contracted by Systaems to The KPI Institute.
Develop and maintain a robust consultancy solutions portfolio that includes both on-site and off-site services. This involves thorough research into the evolving needs of organizations within our domain of expertise and an effective feedback and collaboration system between Systaems and TKI.
Develop implementation toolkits for consultancy services, adaptable to both on-site and off-site contexts. These toolkits, developed collaboratively by Systems and TKI, help us in effectively deploy our methodologies and ensure a seamless client experience.
Customize standard training programs for in-house course deliveries contracted by Maentae or Systaems (industry/functional area customization).
Conduct induction sessions for Systaems consultants, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to implement our methodologies proficiently.
Manage external clients and projects that are commissioned research (secondary benchmarking studies, analysis reports), as well as other research included in consultancy projects and commissioned by Systaems to TKI like PESTEL analysis etc.
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Internal Consultant is responsible for delivering offsite consultancy services, research services, and methodology toolkits for consultancy services.
Your main responsibilities include:
Research
Conducts secondary research activities for external clients or internal projects.
Analyses and synthesizes research outputs generated by junior team members or other researchers.
Transposes research findings into conclusions, and issues recommendations.
Develops research reports and presents findings and recommendations to internal or external clients.
Offsite Consultancy
Leads and/or undertakes off-site activities related to strategy planning, performance management, and data analysis, including audits and maturity assessments.
Conducts client meetings and presentations for clients (internal and external).
Develops guides and manuals as part of consultancy projects.
Responds to clients' questions and reviews answers formulated by junior level team members.
Content Development
Writes articles for Performance Magazine, and whitepapers.
Proposes new ideas for business management which are reflected in new products/services of the organization (solution design to modern business challenges).
Conceptualizes strategy and performance related frameworks to be used by client organizations.
Develops maturity assessment models in the area of strategy and performance to be used by organization or to conduct evaluations for client organizations.
Develops step-by-step guides and tools for consultancy services that are provided to Systaems.
Conducts induction sessions for Systaems consultants on how to use the tools developed.
Develops toolkits which are ready to use tools by external clients (e.g. scorecard/dashboard excel tools).
Training
Customizes standard training courses for a particular industry or functional area.
Reviews professional and practitioner assignments.
Conducts practitioner interviews.
We expect you to:
- Master’s degree in business administration
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategy and performance management-related fields either as practitioner or academia
- Have strong communication skills both in writing and speaking
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office package, especially PPT, Word and Excel
- Excel in written and verbal English
