The KPI Institute is considered today the global authority on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) research and education. It developed the first KPI Management Framework and operates www.smartkpis.com, the result of the research program dedicated to documenting and cataloguing how KPIs are used in practice, an online portal containing the largest collection of documented KPI examples.
Your main responsibilities include:

Establish and Manage ILMS Journal:
- Lead the creation and ongoing development of the ILMS Journal.
- Oversee the editorial process, including peer review, manuscript selection, and publication schedules.
- Develop strategies to increase the journal’s impact and visibility within the academic community.

Academic Representation:
- Represent ILMS at national and international conferences, symposia, and academic meeting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key academic and research institutions.
- Promote ILMS research initiatives and findings through presentations and collaborations.

Research Oversight:
- Develop and implement strategic research agendas aligned with ILMS’s goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of research projects.
- Ensure that all research activities adhere to ethical guidelines and quality standards.

Publication Management:
- Manage the publication process for research outputs from ILMS.
- Coordinate with researchers to ensure timely and high-quality dissemination of research findings.
- Seek out opportunities for publication in high-impact journals and media.

Strategic Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the research team.
- Foster a collaborative research environment and encourage innovative research approaches.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support research initiatives.

Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and manage research budgets and resources.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and external regulations.
- Report on research activities and outcomes to senior management.
- Other tasks as they may arise according to Direct Manager requests.
We expect you to:
- Education: Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, a related field, or relevant discipline.
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in academic research, including a proven track record of research leadership and publication.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a research team effectively.
- Academic Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Life Management Science and related research areas.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting research findings and representing an organization at academic events.
- Publication Management: Experience in academic publishing and managing peer review processes.
- Strategic Vision: Strong strategic planning abilities with a track record of successfully implementing research agendas.
- Networking: Ability to build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, researchers, and other stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in research management tools and software.
