RoleContext
As the Social Media Manager in the Marketing Department, you will play an important role in managing LMSL’s social media presence to promote our brand, engage our target audience, and drive demand for our life management solutions. This includes developing and executing social media strategies, creating compelling content, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure alignment with our mission and marketing objectives. You will work in a remote, global environment, collaborating with cross functional teams to amplify LMSL’s impact through digital channels.
Your main responsibilities include:
● Develop and implement social media strategies that align with LMSL’s marketing goals and brand identity.
● Manage social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and others, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
● Plan and schedule content calendars to ensure consistent and relevant posting.
● Create and curate engaging content, such as posts, videos, infographics, and stories, that resonate with our audience and reflect LMSL’s science-backed approach.
● Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to produce high-quality, mission-aligned content.
● Ensure all social media content adheres to LMSL’s brand guidelines and values.
● Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
● Foster community interaction through polls, Q&A sessions, and user-generated content campaigns.
● Identify opportunities to grow the follower base and enhance audience engagement.
● Track and analyze social media metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth, content performance) using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
● Prepare regular reports on social media performance for the marketing team and senior leadership.
● Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and recommend improvements.
● Work closely with the marketing, content creation, and product teams to integrate social media efforts into broader campaigns.
● Support the launch of new courses, tools, or initiatives by promoting them on social media.
● Coordinate with external partners or influencers for social media collaborations, if applicable.
● Stay informed about social media trends, platform updates, and best practices relevant to LMSL’s audience.
● Propose innovative ideas to enhance social media presence, such as live sessions, challenges, or partnerships.
We expect you to:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
● 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role, preferably in a marketing or personal development context.
● Proven track record of managing social media accounts that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
● Strong understanding of social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and brand-aligned content.
● Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive social media strategy and performance.
● Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing trends and audience needs.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
● Passion for personal development, wellness, and life management science.
● Experience in industries related to education, wellness, or EdTech is a plus.
● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage audiences digitally.
