Your main responsibilities include:
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovative solutions and continuous learning.
Delegate tasks and provide guidance to designers on their ongoing projects, ensuring continuity and quality of work.
Assist the Art Director with Design Quality-Assurance of all outputs including course materials, sales collaterals and marketing collaterals, ensuring all designs meet high standards and align with brand guidelines.
Conduct Design Quality-Assurance for social media artworks, maintaining consistency and quality across all platforms.
Assess the need for meetings with departments for new design requests in the absence of the Art Director. If meetings are not required, provide feedback and guidance to designers before sending the material to the requestor. Make sure that proper brief has been provided to avoid confusions within the creative department.
Mentor a team of Graphic Designers and Content Quality-Assurance Specialists, offering direction, feedback, and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
Manage time effectively to support both the team and the Art Director, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed efficiently.
Initiate new projects and create multiple draft options for presentation to the team.
Conduct research and stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design output.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
Support the Art Director in maintaining both the OS file and the Asana boards, ensuring all project details are up-to-date and organized.
Collaborate with department heads on ongoing and new projects when the Art Director is not available, taking detailed notes to update the Art Director on project progress.
We expect you to:
7+ years of experience in the design industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creative projects. At Least 4 years of experience in leading teams.
A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
Proven ability to support senior art director and take initiative in their absence.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant tools. Extensive experience in AI softwares like ChatGPT and Midjourney.
Proficiency in project management tools like Asana & Google Drive, also in communication tools like Slack & Ms Teams.
Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in mentoring and developing junior & senior designers, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Fluency in English.
Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
Familiarity with web design principles and experience with UI/UX design is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively under pressure.
